Cormac McCarthy the Scientist
At the Sante Fe Institute, where humanists mingle with scientists, Cormac McCarthy talked about his love of science and made a startling admission:
I’m not here because I’m a novelist. I just managed to sneak in. I haven’t read a novel in years.
One assumes that means he’s been reading a lot of People magazine, or maybe he’s been focusing on nonfiction.
