On September 7, 2010, a friend of mine, Gabe Pope, and I released an album called Starlit Parlor. We called ourselves The Taste Buds. We played live exactly once. I still love writing new songs, but getting together to practice and finding a space to make noise can take more effort than we’re sometimes willing to exert. Maybe we’re just lazy.

We do have a large backlog of songs that we’d like to record again in the future and hopefully we will, hopefully sooner rather than later. If you want to listen to demos of new songs I write, I post them on Mondays in the category of M.U.S.I.C. Monday. Who knows, they might show up someday with better production as Taste Buds songs, when Gabe adds his distinct musical touch and talents into the mix.
